Today Alex and Lisa talk to Jo about her journey to sobriety and how she is healing from sexual trauma. Jo is a co-founder of Bee Sober which has recently merged with The Sober Experiment to create Bee Sober CIC, a valuable source to help people on their journey into sobriety and beyond. Her passion outside of work is the gym, in particular weight lifting and that is where you will find her, surrounded by her gym family at 6am most mornings and again in the evening! Jo, is a 42-year-old mum of 4 and a newly doting Nanna. Her first love is floral artistry, as a Freelance florist of 28 years her career in events has been vast, working on high end events with celebrity clients. And managing one of the country’s leading event florists. More recently she has taken a step back from the fast pace and long hours in events to focus on her new love of all things sober. Jo is nearing the end of her coaching course to become a fully accredited life coach. Her dream in the near future is to write a book or 3 about her life journey so far! And to open a Bee Sober hub.
